Love and Purpose of Nature
We all need love. It's probablyin not so difficult to explain why. From the day we came in here, we have been helpless, and without love, we would not survive long, human civilization would have exitincted before we even knew what civilzation is.But classifying love is not that straight forward. We are continuously loved by our family and friends, but still we look for a different kind of it, namely, the romantic one. What exactly is it that gives us, that none of the loves can not? Is it really so platonic?
If we believe this argument that, nature has a design and things happen because they are supposed to happen and there is no such thing as 'mistake' or 'accident' in her design, then a large portion of the drama is explained. The intuition behind this "no-mistake" theory is, to make a mistake, two opposing force have to be in action. Unless one believes in a counter-nature, nature is not restricted by anything. So, why should it, or better, how would it make a mistake? The very idea of mistake is so personal to human thinking. We see mistakes because our theory is incomplete. That's why when we see some phenomenon that does not go with our theories, we dont start arguing with the nature, we rather try evey possible way to minimize the difference between the theory and the observed phenomenon by adapting, or even completely flipping the theory if required. We are here to see and learn only, we can have no 'opinion' whatsoever.
Following this, we can try to see what nature is really achieiving through us. This aproach of analysis won't give all the goals of nature but will at least find some of them. So what does this heuristic tells us in concrete terms? It tells us, no matter what you think about the goal of our own lives, whatever "actually" happens consistently over a large period of time, "IS" the goal, nothing else. If for example that was not the goal, then nature would be in error, which can not be the case. So, to find out the meaning of us, we need to see, what we are really doing with our lives and NOT what we think we would need to do with our lives. In that way, all through the time, one thing we consistently been doing is surviving and reproducing. As I have declared before, it "may" not be the only purpose, but, according to the proposed hypothesis, this "is" definitely one of the goals.
